So by total accident, I discovered this new hot key in Windows Vista that lets you quickly launch applications from your quick launch toolbar. All you have to do is press Windows + #, where # is the position of the item that you want to launch. So if you press Windows 1, it will launch the first item on the quick launch tool bar and so on.

I must say, it sure entertained the inner geek in me all morning. Forget alt tab, its Windows + 5 for Outlook from now on!
