Some jobs are added in the JobMine system already and I had a look at them yesterday. Besides the usual types of jobs that I apply to, I am going to be adding one more type to the list. It’ll be quite challenging to get a job in that field, and the work conditions might not be very nice, but I think I really want to get a job in that field to see how I can handle it.

One of the big changes with this job field is that I’ll have to leave the awesomeness of the west coast during the snowboarding season, but the complete change of experience will be worth it. I only have a very light background in this field, so there’ll be a pretty steep learning curve for sure.

BUT, this doesn’t mean that I am giving up on the program manager career track at all. Both kind of jobs will be equally challenging and demanding for me. I am probably more likely to get into program management than these other jobs. If I get offered both kind of jobs, well, that’d make things a little bit difficult. Haha, but I’ll think about that when (and if) I get to that point.
