I picked up a 2GB Sandisk Cruzer Titanium from Future Shop yesterday for $25. I plugged it in to the laptop and set Vista to use the drive for ReadyBoost with 1830 mb allocated. Oh, fastness. But apparently they got the 4GB variety in stock now, so I might be heading back there for an exchange tomorrow. =D
Haha, before I finished reading your post I was going to let you know of the 4GB version. I would use some ReadyBoost goodness, but I’m hardly utilizing the 4GB of physical RAM on mine. Does your laptop have a built-in card reader? A flash card would be a lot more flush with your laptop…
How fast is your laptop built-in card reader? Some are deathly slow…
theres always the PCMCIA card route… not like i’ll ever use that anyways… faster than your typical USB card readers
