Oops, I have almost forgotten that I have this website. =) With the 6th TWSA event of the term (not counting “post-events”) being executed this Thursday, this makes TWSA one of the most active student clubs on campus this term. Our events “coincidentally” compete head-to-head with other major clubs on campus like CASA and CSA (5000 members). I’d say that our TWSA Idol event received a relatively positive feedback from people. Over the past few events, we’ve worked hard to drive the marketing material through our channels and sponsors.

That’s pretty much what I’ve been dedicating my time outside of school for the past few weeks. On top of the demanding work loads of the ECE program with the fast expanding ad campaigns that we are pulling off, something interesting came up last week that took a lot of my time. Even though I found myself with much less sleeping hours, I actually ended up more energetic than ever because I am so excited about all of these exciting changes!

Back to the topic of TWSA, our exec team is actually much smaller and less resourceful than the other big clubs on campus, but we did a great job at pulling off the events in the term so far. Our membership growth has just been absolutely incredible, which makes all the hard work that much more rewarding. The work that Winnie and I had been putting into the website had received a lot of good feedback from our affiliates at other campuses too.

The next event that we are rolling out is the TWSA Idol Final this Thursday at Fed Hall. We’ll have guest performers in addition to our 11 incredible finalists from the preliminary round. This will be followed up by the very-large-scale-mega-event, High to the Next Level, co-organized with student clubs from University of Toronto and York University with the expectations of over 1200 in attendance at Toronto’s Next Level. Yes… it’s on the day of my birthday… so you all have to come ;)

Might want to work on getting the actual TWSA site up on Google’s page rank. It’s sitting at the bottom of the first page when searching “TWSA Waterloo”. The ugly page hosted on the CSClub’s webspace is first.

we’re too young haha..the site is only 1 month old. :(

I haven’t even settled on the design yet… so SEO can come later

Man, I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever. And we’re on the same stream!
