I’ve snuck in an overload course without actually going through the new sluggish ‘process’ at the ECE office. But my two electives for the summer aren’t supposed to be too hard anyways. They are Intro to International Economics and Intro to Cognitive Sciences, both of which I have a lot of interest in as well. I am doing ECON 302 and ECON 221 through DE right now during the work term and it doesn’t seem so bad. For best tax optimization, I should only be taking one course during co-op terms though.
Right now I think I already have all of my outside-of-school time assigned somewhere, so if you were planning on engaging me in some weird project, it better be a good idea for me to drop something else!
The courses for next term looks like this right now…
- ECE 316 – Probability Theory & Random Processes
- ECE 324 – Microprocessor Sys & Interface
- ECE 342 – Signals & Systems
- ECE 354 – Real-time Operating Systems
- ECON 231 – Intro to International Economics
- PSYCH 256 – Intro to Cognitive Science
And for some reason, Tuesday is scheduled as a stressfully long day again with classes scheduled from 8:30 to 5:30. Good thing that my two electives are DE courses so I don’t have to do the entire running thing to catch the next lecture in the “non-engineering” section of the campus. But other days of the week seems fine with classes going from 1:30 in the afternoon to 4:30.

yeah, tues/thurs are long for me too…. rah
