I realized that I haven’t wrote anything in the past week so I’m going to type up a little update here. I’ve concentrated most of my efforts over the past week on my business finance mid-term which I’d like to think I did reasonable well on. I had quite a bit to catch up on since I missed last week’s lecture to study for my other mid-terms.

After a quick 24-hour break into normal life, we started burying ourselves into the real-time OS project as of Friday evening. As for other parts of my life, I’ll sort that out after this project is done…

With that being said, I can be reached on my phone/blackberry around the clock though, and I don’t mind to be interrupted from the OS project (nerdy pun intended). =]

Good luck, man. If it’s any help, you can not finish your RTOS and still pass the course. I’m living proof of that…

I heard you can still get 75% on the project even if your demo doesn’t work. As long as you can explain to the TA why it doesn’t work the way you intended it to be.

But the TA didn’t like us when we designed a very simple mechanism that is guaranteed to prevent deadlocking lol. Apparently we are supposed to deadlock on this project….

Once you get context switching working, it’ll all fall into place. The spec doc is holy. Good luck!
