Success!

I’ve snuck in an overload course without actually going through the new sluggish ‘process’ at the ECE office. But my two electives for the summer aren’t supposed to be too hard anyways. They are Intro to International Economics and Intro to Cognitive Sciences, both of which I have a lot of interest in as well. [...]

Bill Gates going to UW (again!)

Bill Gates is doing another speech as part of his farewell tour at the University of Waterloo. 100 lucky engineering students will be selected to attend on February 21st 9:00 AM at the Hagey Hall … after they have filled out this form.

Cheaper Textbooks

So as some of you may know, I’ve been buying my books one way or another from Taiwan. But I sort of forgot about my econ textbooks on my shopping list this time, so I ended up having to look towards SFU and UBC bookstores for my textbook needs.

Current work term plans

So during my short short 4 month period of freedom, my life is pretty much filled up with things to do already!

ECE 251 Project

Struggling with making significant progress with the ECE 251 project over the past few days, I’ve finally decided to replace my end of term countdown clock on my dashboard with a ECE 251 project due date countdown. I figure sending myself into panic mode for the project would help me get it all done that [...]

I’m Competent

12 weeks after my work term ended, I have finally received credit today for PDExx 45. Hurray!

It’s been a busy month

Oops, I have almost forgotten that I have this website. =) With the 6th TWSA event of the term (not counting “post-events”) being executed this Thursday, this makes TWSA one of the most active student clubs on campus this term. Our events “coincidentally” compete head-to-head with other major clubs on campus like CASA and CSA [...]

Computer Science Logo Contest

The School of Computer Science is running a logo design contest with the top prize of $600 and runner-up prizes of $200. You can see the CS logo contest website for more details about this.
I like how they also have stated there is a possibility that no logos would be selected if there are no [...]
